Our Story
ModSession began as a workshop-bench conversation between a handful of horology obsessives who grew tired of watching the watch world split into two camps: cold, intimidating boutiques on one end, and cheap, anonymous Instagram brands on the other. We believed there was a third way — thoughtfully designed, honestly priced timepieces, backed by people who could actually regulate a movement. So in 2005 we opened a small workshop in Irvine, California with a simple promise: every watch on the site is one we would proudly wear ourselves, sourced through authorised channels and hand-checked before it ships.
Today our Irvine workshop services thousands of orders across North America, but the philosophy has not changed: considered curation, honest pricing, and a customer-care desk run by real watchmakers and collectors who answer the phone.

- Respect for craft. Every timepiece is tested on a timegrapher, photographed honestly, and packed with the full box and papers — the way horology was meant to be sold.
How We Work
Watches arrive at our Irvine workshop sealed from the brand, then each one is uncased for inspection, timed on a timegrapher, pressure-tested where applicable, photographed in our studio, and repackaged for shipment. Every order is inspected, polished to factory standard, and packed with a handwritten thank-you card before it ships. Orders placed before 2 PM Pacific Time on a business day leave the workshop the same afternoon. US standard shipping is free on every order — fully insured, signature on delivery, and end-to-end tracking.
Our Promise
If something is not right — a timing irregularity, a bracelet issue, a strap that is not to your taste — we will make it right. Most timepieces can be returned within 30 days, and every ModSession watch carries a two-year limited warranty. Email our care desk and you will hear back from a real person in the same business day, not a bot.
