This policy explains what ModSession collects when you use modsession.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
- Order information — name, delivery address, billing address, email and phone number. We need this to ship your order.
- Payment information — handled entirely by our payment providers. Card numbers never touch our servers.
- Account information — if you create an account, we store your email, a hashed password and your saved addresses.
- Technical information — IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site secure and working.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart, to keep you signed in, and to understand which pages people actually read. You can block cookies in your browser, but the cart will stop working.
Who we share it with
Only the parties needed to complete your order: our payment processors, our fulfilment partner, our shipping carriers, and our email provider. We do not sell customer data to anyone.
Data that leaves the United States
Your name, delivery address and phone number are sent to our fulfilment partner in Hong Kong so your parcel can be addressed and shipped, and to FedEx so it can be delivered. Nothing else is shared with them, and they may not use your details for anything other than fulfilling your order. If you would rather we did not transfer your details, we cannot ship to you, and you are welcome to cancel before dispatch.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for seven years to meet US tax and accounting requirements. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email support@modsession.com and we will respond within 30 days.
